One of Peopletek’s clients provides global capability in complex Marine Operations and offshore engineer jobs. They also have offices in Aberdeen, Newcastle and London and have established a recognized expertise in Marine, DP and Engineering consultancy.

Currently they are seeking Senior Naval Architect on a permanent basis. The role will involve naval architectural analyses and project management as part of the companies growing and varied workload.

Experience in the following would be an advantage:

· Riser and Mooring analysis

· Vessel motion studies

· Multi-body Dynamic analyses

The ideal candidate will have:

· 10 years relevant engineering background and a proven track record in a similar field

· Preferably degree in Naval Architecture and with chartered status would be beneficial but not essential

· Good understanding of first principle hydrodynamics with knowledge of industry software packages such as Orcaflex, Freecom/Flexcom would be beneficial
